The truck waiting park is already under construction

Work has already started on the construction of the truck waiting park in Maputo Province to solve the congestion problem on National Road Number 4. The road registers up to 1200 trucks a day from South Africa, loaded with various ores.

The truck waiting park is being built on an area of 20 hectares in Pessene, in the Moamba district, Maputo Province. Once the infrastructure starts working, it is expected to contribute to reducing the circulation of trucks on the EN4, which has caused mobility and road safety problems in recent days.
