After a successful work in the certification of construction cement, the Mozambique Engineering Laboratory (LEM) intends to start, later this year, the testing and certification of the quality of locally produced and imported steel.
In statements made recently in Maputo, during a reflection meeting on the civil construction sector, the researcher at LEM, Rodrigues Manjate, assured that, "as a result of the successful certification work, the national cement industry is already exporting to some foreign markets."
