The Minister of Health promised on Thursday, May 11, that four more district hospitals will be built later this year. Speaking on the second and last day of the session of questions to the Government in the Assembly of the Republic (AR), Armindo Tiago also assured that there is a stock of medicines in the national health system for the next three months.
The measure, according to the Executive, is part of the presidential initiative "One district, one hospital". To this end, the Minister of Health highlighted the importance of the same taking into account that only 46 of the 154 districts of the country have health units.
